Week one of open water fishing season!

We are kicking- off the season up on Lake Champlain out of Port Henry NY. We are having an absolute blast out here chasing Landlocks and Lake Trout on light tackle. This can be some of the best fishing of the year. The fish are in shallow water and eager to feed this time of year. We are looking for warm water and juvenile alewife pods which have been the two key factors in hitting large groups of landlocked salmon and Lake trout.
