Fantastic Spring fishing on the Queen!

We are back on our home lake and it feels great! There is an astounding population of trout around this year. With little ice fishing pressure we have been enjoying high catch rates and lots of fish on the screen everywhere we go. Spring can be tricky and very transitional but if you can stay on the bait you will stay on the fish. We are focusing on large feeding flats in the 40 to 60ft range adjacent to shallower weed beds this time of year. These fish can be here one day and gone the next so being mobile is our key to spring fishing success. Attached is a pic of Jace with a beautiful 9lb laker. He was so pumped ! His biggest fish ever....we love taking kids out fishing.
