A new spot and a PB Pike Iced !

Today I decided to look for a completely new area that I had never fished before. It's always my absolute favorite thing to do when I get a free day. Exploring means reaching outside your comfort zone and can be hit or miss, but doing so will make you a better angler and often times will reveal a hot spot as it did today. This 42" fish was caught in some large boulders I found amongst a very large expansive sand flat. One tug on the line and I had no doubt in my mind this was a serious fish! What a great day.
